Jefferson County Personal Property Forms Due May 1 | The Locally Times
Residents who did not return their initial assessment lists have until May 1 to file to avoid late penalties.
Jefferson County residents must file their 2026 personal property assessment forms by May 1 to avoid late penalties. The Jefferson County Assessor’s Office mailed initial assessment lists in early January 2026. Those who did not submit their forms will receive a "Reminder" assessment list later this month, which will include a link to the e-file website, an account number, and a PIN. Taxpayers have the option to file electronically or return the physical reminder form to the Assessor’s Office. Residents who have not received a 2026 assessment list by the end of March are advised to contact the Assessor’s Office directly at 636-797-5343 or ppassessor@jeffcomo.org. What to watch: The Assessor's Office will be sending out reminder forms by the end of March. Residents should check their mail for these forms and ensure they file by the May 1 deadline.
