SFMTA reroutes three bus lines for Visitacion Valley Soul Food Festival | The Locally Times

The San Francisco Municipal Transportation Agency (SFMTA) will reroute the 8 Bayshore, 56 Rutland, and 91 3rd Street/19th Avenue Owl bus lines to accommodate the annual Soul Food Festival in Visitacion Valley. The event is scheduled for Friday, June 19, from 12 p.m. to 7 p.m., and Saturday, June 20, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. ## Street Closures and Transit Impacts To facilitate the festival, the city will close Sunnydale Avenue between Hahn and Sawyer streets. This closure remains in effect from 10 a.m. on Friday, June 19, through 10 p.m. on Saturday, June 20. The 8 Bayshore and 56 Rutland routes will divert via Sawyer and Sunnydale streets during the closure period, which lasts from 10 a.m. Friday until 8 p.m. Saturday. The 91 3rd Street/19th Avenue Owl route will also adjust its path via Sunnydale, Rey, and Visitacion streets for the duration of its service hours. ## Affected Stops Passengers should anticipate service changes at several locations. Missed stops include Hahn Street and Sunnydale Avenue (stops #14938 and #14937), Hahn Street and Visitacion Avenue (#17026), Sunnydale Avenue and Sawyer Street (#16580), and Visitacion Avenue and Sawyer Street (#16853).
