The Thurgood Marshall College Fund SOAR HBCU Scholars Program provides a week of college exposure and career exploration.

## Free College Experience Offered Lincoln University is accepting applications for a free, one-week residential summer camp designed for high-achieving high school juniors. The Thurgood Marshall College Fund (TMCF) SOAR HBCU Scholars Program will take place on Lincoln's campus in Jefferson City from June 21–26, 2026. The program aims to provide participants with early exposure to college life through hands-on learning, workshops, and campus engagement. ## Application Details The initiative, funded by the Thurgood Marshall College Fund, is intended to help students build confidence, clarify academic goals, and prepare for higher education. All costs for housing and meals are covered by the program. To apply, students must submit a completed application form, an academic transcript, a 250- to 300-word personal statement, and a letter of recommendation. Applicants must maintain a minimum GPA of 2.5 on a 4.0 scale and demonstrate academic promise. ## Deadline Approaching The application deadline for the TMCF SOAR Program is May 15, 2026. Lincoln University, a historically Black, 1890 land-grant, public university, offers this program as part of its mission to provide educational opportunities to a diverse population.
